Halloween Cardigan Ariel Elsa Rapunzel Princess

This is a Halloween cardigan built around Ariel, Elsa, and Rapunzel, stitched into stripes of deep purple, teal, pink, and black that carry the whole design from collar to hem.

Ariel, Elsa, and Rapunzel Share the Same Cardigan

The front carries all three in a row, witch hat added to Ariel, Elsa mid spell in her icy blue gown, Rapunzel holding a small pumpkin like she just picked it up from a porch step. Ghosts float between them, spiders sit along the pink stripe, and a purple spiderweb pattern closes out the collar and cuffs. The back keeps that same story going with a Belle patch near the collar and another set of ghosts and webs filling out the space, so there’s something to look at whichever way someone’s standing behind you at a party.

We made this one for the parent who ends up being the built in Halloween decoration at every school event, every trunk or treat, every living room photo before the kids run out the door. Our halloween cardigan works that way on purpose, since a button up layer is easy to throw on over a plain shirt and just as easy to take off once the candy bowl empties out. It’s for the person who still wants pumpkins and spiderwebs on their sleeve without dressing up as anything in particular.

Small Pumpkin, Big Point

Rapunzel holding that pumpkin does a lot of quiet work here. It’s the one detail that turns the whole cardigan from “fall sweater” into something built specifically for Halloween, and it’s usually the first thing someone points at when they notice the print up close.

Black ribbed cuffs and collar hold the four color blocks together, and the buttons run in a plain wood tone that doesn’t fight with any of the busy artwork. We think that’s part of what makes it work past October 31st too. Pull it out again for a fall gathering, a pumpkin patch trip, a weekend where the kids want to watch their favorite princess movies back to back. It holds up as something worth reaching for again, not just once.
